By entering the event venue, all visitors, traders, exhibitors, staff, contractors, and other attendees agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions of Entry. These conditions are intended to ensure the safety, legality, security, and enjoyment of everyone attending the event.
- Right of Admission
1.1 Military Odyssey Limited reserves the right to refuse admission to, or remove from the venue, any person without refund where, in the reasonable opinion of the organisers, their behaviour or presence is unsafe, unlawful, disruptive, or otherwise in breach of these Terms & Conditions.
1.2 Visitors and other attendees must comply with all reasonable instructions given by the organisers, venue management, security personnel, stewards, or emergency services.
1.3 Any person removed from the event must leave the venue immediately when instructed to do so.
- Tickets and No Refunds
2.1 All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where a refund is required by law or where Military Odyssey Limited expressly agrees otherwise.
2.2 No refunds will be provided for tickets that are unused, partially used, lost, damaged, or where the ticket holder is unable or chooses not to attend the event.
2.3 No refund will be provided where a person is refused admission or removed from the event as a result of a breach of these Terms & Conditions, unlawful behaviour, unsafe behaviour, disruptive conduct, or failure to comply with reasonable instructions.
2.4 Military Odyssey Limited reserves the right to alter the event programme, timetable, attractions, demonstrations, displays, exhibitors, or other elements of the event without providing a refund.
2.5 Where circumstances outside the reasonable control of Military Odyssey Limited affect the event, including adverse weather, safety concerns, government restrictions, emergencies, industrial action, venue issues, or other unforeseen circumstances, Military Odyssey Limited reserves the right to postpone, alter, relocate, or cancel the event. Any refund or ticket arrangements in such circumstances will be determined by Military Odyssey Limited, subject to applicable law.
2.6 Nothing in this clause excludes or limits any statutory rights or other rights to a refund that cannot legally be excluded.
- Legal Compliance
3.1 All items brought into, displayed, exchanged, sold, purchased, or otherwise dealt with at the event must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
3.2 This includes, but is not limited to, laws relating to the possession, ownership, transportation, display, sale, purchase, import, and export of items.
3.3 Responsibility for ensuring that an item is lawful rests solely with the individual who possesses, displays, sells, purchases, or otherwise deals with that item.
3.4 Military Odyssey Limited accepts no responsibility for any individual’s failure to comply with applicable legislation.
- Searches and Security
4.1 As a condition of entry, Military Odyssey Limited reserves the right to conduct reasonable searches of bags, cases, vehicles, personal belongings, and, where appropriate, individuals entering or already within the venue.
4.2 Searches may be conducted for security, safety, fire-safety, or legal-compliance purposes.
4.3 Refusal to comply with a reasonable search request may result in admission being refused or the individual being removed from the event without refund.
4.4 Any prohibited, unlawful, or otherwise unsafe item may be refused entry or confiscated where permitted by law and may be referred to the appropriate authorities where necessary.
- Children and Young Persons
5.1 Children are welcome to attend the event but must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a responsible adult.
5.2 Parents, guardians, and accompanying adults remain responsible for the supervision and behaviour of children in their care.
5.3 Military Odyssey Limited accepts no responsibility for the supervision of children.
5.4 Children must remain within areas designated for public access and must not enter restricted areas, demonstration areas, vehicle areas, or other areas where access is prohibited.
- Trading and Sales
6.1 All sales and transactions conducted at the event are solely between the individual trader and buyer.
6.2 Military Odyssey Limited has no involvement in, and accepts no responsibility for, individual transactions, including but not limited to:
- pricing;
- description of goods;
- authenticity;
- condition;
- provenance;
- ownership;
- legality; or
- suitability of any item.
6.3 All items are offered for sale entirely at the discretion of the individual trader.
6.4 Any agreement, complaint, claim, or dispute arising from a transaction is strictly a matter between the buyer and seller.
6.5 Traders remain solely responsible for ensuring that all items they offer for sale comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Behaviour and Conduct
7.1 All attendees are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully towards other visitors, traders, exhibitors, staff, contractors, and venue personnel.
7.2 Aggressive, threatening, abusive, disorderly, or intimidating behaviour will not be tolerated.
7.3 Any person whose behaviour, including behaviour resulting from intoxication, creates a risk to themselves or others, disrupts the event, or interferes with the enjoyment of other attendees may be removed immediately without refund.
7.4 Fighting, threatening behaviour, harassment, deliberate damage to property, or any other unlawful conduct may be reported to the relevant authorities.
- Fire Safety
8.1 All attendees must comply with all fire-safety requirements, instructions, signage, and emergency procedures in place at the venue.
8.2 Visitors must not bring or use heating appliances, cooking appliances, naked flames, fireworks, or other fire-producing equipment at the event unless specifically authorised by Military Odyssey Limited.
8.3 Gas cylinders, flammable liquids, or other materials presenting a significant fire risk must not be brought onto the site by visitors unless expressly authorised.
8.4 Fire extinguishers, fire points, emergency exits, fire lanes, access routes, and other fire-safety equipment must not be obstructed, interfered with, or used except in an emergency or by authorised personnel.
8.5 Any fire, smoke, gas leak, or other potential fire hazard must be reported immediately to a member of event staff, security, or a steward.
8.6 In the event of a fire or other emergency, all attendees must follow instructions given by Military Odyssey Limited, venue personnel, security, stewards, or emergency services and must evacuate the area when instructed.
8.7 Military Odyssey Limited reserves the right to suspend, alter, or cancel any activity where fire, weather, safety, or other circumstances create a risk to attendees.
- Displays, Demonstrations and Restricted Areas
9.1 The event may include historical military vehicles, machinery, weapons displays, demonstrations, re-enactments, pyrotechnics, and other activities which may involve inherent risks.
9.2 Visitors must remain behind designated barriers and within authorised viewing areas during demonstrations and displays.
9.3 Visitors must not touch, climb on, move, operate, or interfere with vehicles, machinery, weapons, displays, structures, equipment, or other event installations unless expressly authorised.
9.4 Visitors must not enter restricted, fenced-off, backstage, vehicle, demonstration, participant-only, or staff-only areas.
9.5 Visitors must comply immediately with any safety instructions relating to demonstrations, moving vehicles, machinery, animals, or other activities.
- Photography and Recording
10.1 Photography and video recording may take place at the event for promotional, marketing, editorial, security, or other legitimate purposes.
10.2 By entering the venue, attendees acknowledge and consent to being photographed or filmed as part of general event coverage, except where such consent cannot lawfully be implied or otherwise applies differently under applicable law.
10.3 Personal photography and video recording are permitted unless otherwise stated by Military Odyssey Limited or the venue.
10.4 Photography or video recording for commercial purposes is not permitted without prior written permission from the organisers.
10.5 Attendees must not obstruct displays, demonstrations, emergency routes, or other attendees while taking photographs or making recordings.
- Personal Property and Liability
11.1 Attendance at the event is at the individual’s own risk, except to the extent that liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
11.2 Military Odyssey Limited accepts no responsibility for loss of, theft of, or damage to personal belongings brought onto the venue premises, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
11.3 Attendees are responsible for taking reasonable care of their own property and are advised not to leave valuable belongings unattended.
11.4 Military Odyssey Limited accepts no responsibility for transactions, purchases, sales, or disputes arising between traders and buyers.
11.5 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability which cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
- Emergency Procedures
12.1 In the event of an emergency, evacuation, severe weather, fire, security incident, or other situation affecting the safety of the event, attendees must follow all instructions issued by event staff, security personnel, stewards, venue management, or emergency services.
12.2 Attendees must not obstruct emergency vehicles, emergency personnel, access routes, exits, or assembly areas.
12.3 Military Odyssey Limited reserves the right to close areas of the venue, evacuate attendees, postpone activities, or cancel the event where reasonably necessary for safety or security.
- Insurance
13.1 Visitors are responsible for ensuring that they have appropriate insurance for their own personal property and activities where they consider such insurance necessary.
13.2 Traders, exhibitors, contractors, and other persons conducting commercial activities at the event are responsible for maintaining any insurance required by law or reasonably appropriate for their activities.
- Changes and Updates
14.1 Military Odyssey Limited reserves the right to amend or update these Terms & Conditions where reasonably necessary.
14.2 The most current version applicable to an attendee will be the version in force at the time of entry to the event.
- Acceptance of Terms
15.1 By entering the venue, purchasing a ticket, attending, trading, exhibiting, working, or otherwise participating in the event, each individual confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
15.2 These Terms & Conditions are intended to help ensure a safe, lawful, secure, and enjoyable event for all attendees.
Military Odyssey Limited reserves the right to take reasonable and proportionate action where necessary to enforce these Terms & Conditions and protect the safety and wellbeing of everyone attending the event.
